Osceola County is conducting an Alternative Corridor Evaluation (ACE) and Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for the extension of Sunbridge Parkway in northeast Osceola County, Florida. The Sunbridge Parkway Extension project is proposed to provide a new roadway connection between Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway (US 192), the southern project limit, and Nova Road (CR 532), the northern project limit. It is anticipated to be a four-lane divided roadway accommodating pedestrians and bicyclists. For more information on the Nova Road improvement project, please visit www.osceola.org/go/novaroad
The completed Sunbridge Parkway will serve as a major north-south divided corridor that will ultimately connect US 192 in Osceola County and State Road SR 528 in Orange County. The project will evaluate alternative transportation corridors of varying lengths that include both new alignments or upgrades to existing roadways. The study will involve engineering analysis, environmental analysis, and community engagement to recommend a project that addresses the needs of the community while minimizing impacts to the surrounding environment.
