Osceola County has completed a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study for improvements to Lake Tohopekaliga Road from Kissimmee Park Road to the future Boulevard B, a distance of approximately three-quarters of a mile. The PD&E study was finalized on Aug. 19, 2026. The study evaluated roadway enhancements to support ongoing adjacent development, including the addition of a median, bicycle lanes, on-street parking and sidewalks along the existing two-lane roadway.

The typical section for the Preferred Alternative includes an 11-foot travel lane, a 7-foot bicycle lane, a 7-foot parallel parking lane, a 2-foot Type F curb and gutter, an 8-foot sod buffer and a 5-foot sidewalk on each side, separated by a 16-foot median.
