Project Description:

The Sinclair Road Extension Project began in September 2021 with a Project Development & Environmental (PD&E) study aimed to evaluate various alternative improvements and their potential impacts to the physical, natural, social, and cultural environments. Following the study, the “Blue Alignment” was chosen as the best alternative and then approved by the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners on February 20, 2023.

Incorporated in the Sinclair Road design are the following:

• A 4-lane divided roadway with 11-foot travel lanes
• A 22-foot raised median separating traffic
• curb and gutter drainage system on both sides of the roadway
• A 5-foot sidewalk located on the east side of the roadway along with a 10-foot multi-use path on the west.

Additional roadway improvements along Goodman Road, Bella Citta Boulevard, and Tradition Boulevard are also included for required connectivity to Sinclair Road.
