Jack Brack Road Extension

This Osceola County project, in partnership with Tavistock Development Company, will extend Jack Brack Road from Absher Road to the future south entrance of the Del Webb Sunbridge community. The planned four-lane roadway extension will be constructed in two phases: Phase 1 will extend from Absher Road approximately 3,000 feet east, and Phase 2 will continue from that point another 3,000 feet toward the location of the future Del Webb Sunbridge south entrance.

In addition to new travel lanes, the project includes a sidewalk, a 12-foot-wide multiuse recreational trail for pedestrians and cyclists, enhanced landscaping in the median and along the roadway, and major gutter and drainage improvements. Three new stormwater ponds will be constructed to reduce flooding and improve water quality by holding and filtering rainwater before it flows into nearby waterways.
