Jack Brack Road Extension

This Osceola County project, in partnership with Tavistock Development Company, extended Jack Brack Road from Absher Road to the future south entrance of the Del Webb Sunbridge community. The four-lane roadway extension was constructed in two phases: Phase 1, from Absher Road approximately 3,000 feet east, and Phase 2, from that point another 3,000 feet toward the location of the future Del Webb Sunbridge south entrance.

In addition to new travel lanes, the project included a sidewalk, a 12-foot-wide multiuse recreational trail for pedestrians and cyclists, and major gutter and drainage improvements. Three new stormwater ponds were constructed to reduce flooding and improve water quality by holding and filtering rainwater before it flows into nearby waterways.
