This Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study involves a 4.65-mile segment of Canoe Creek Road from Deer Run Road to US Highway 192 in the City of St. Cloud and Osceola County, Florida.
Canoe Creek Road is a north-south roadway functionally classified as an urban major collector with two distinct segments within the project corridor. The first segment is 4.4 miles and extends from Deer Run Road to 17th Street. The second segment is 0.25 miles and extends from 17th Street to US Highway 192.
This study, which is being conducted in partnership with the City of St. Cloud, will evaluate widening the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided urban roadway. In addition, multi-modal transportation improvements including continuous sidewalk and buffered bicycle lanes will be evaluated.
This Project is fully funded for design in the Fiscal Year 2026 but is not yet fully funded for right-of-way acquisition or construction.
