Construction was successfully completed July 2024.

This project involves the construction of permanent floating trash and debris collection in the Buenaventura Lakes Stormwater Pond. The trash skimmer is located in the downstream portion of Buenaventura Lakes and will stop floating debris from going downstream by diverting it off to side into a designated area. Without this project, the debris would make it further downstream and into the lake. Once the floating debris is diverted the County will collect it and take it to an approved disposal facility.
