Bridge Safety Repairs

The Florida Department of Transportation inspects bridges within Osceola County every two (2) years. Using these bridge inspections in cooperation with a Bridge Master Plan, repairs are prioritized. Here is a list of projects currently underway and in development:

Repair plans underway.

Canoe over Halfway Cypress

Starting repair plans.

Celebration Place over C-2 Canal

Repair plans are complete. Project being bid.

Crabgrass over Crabgrass Creek

Repair plans are complete. Project being bid.

Hickory Tree over Alligator

Repair plans are complete. Requesting funding in FY25.

Kempfer Bridge Replacement

Seeking grant funding.

Kings Highway

Plans are being completed for repairs and guardrail replacement.

Magnolia Court Bridge Replacement

Design is underway to replace this bridge. It is a single lane wooden bridge and is classified as scour critical. Osceola County has been awarded grant funding for Phase 1 funding (design).

Neptune over Bass Slough

Starting repair plans.

Nova Road over C-32 Canal

Repair plans are complete. Project being bid.

Nova Road over Econlockhatchee River

Repair plans are complete. Project being bid.

Nova Road over Taylor Creek

Repair plans are complete. Project being bid.

Old Lake Wilson Road

Repair project construction started.

Old Tampa Highway over Shingle Creek

Repair project construction started.

Osceola Parkway Bridges

These bridges are in the tolled portion of Osceola Parkway. The bridge repair plans are underway.
